Flip Cameras now work seamlessly with iMovie 08 and Final Cut Studio 2

Note: Before you import movie footage, double click on your Flipvideo hard drive that appears on the desktop and install the blue icon that says Flip Video for Mac. This install important files that help you see the movie files in iMovie. After that, it's clear sailing.
TECHIE TALK: by clicking on the icon, it installs the flip camera's movie codec into a format QuickTime recognizes. This process doesn't take long. Install it and open iMovie and then try importing the files via FILE> IMPORT MOVIES> FLIPVIDEO> and then the files you need.
