Here's a quick tip on how to sync your video and audio using iMovie 09. This is a great tip if you are in a situation where the audio from your camera is poor. You can use an audio recorder (even your iphone) to get closer, better audio than the one off your camera and sync in post production.
That's well smart. Thanks. Been struggling with this issue a little. Was about to get FCP but will instead finish my project with iMovie 09 and save some money. iMovie is so capable of professional results but the audio syncing issue was annoying me some. Thanks.

I have one question that isn't addressed here. Getting the audio and the video synced is good, and this tutorial has shown us how to do that. But then we usually want to take the beginning of the clip off (the clap and maybe some of the initially comments). When I have tried to do this in iMovie 09 it has only allowed me to clip the audio and the video separately -- ruining the syncing I spent my time doing.
How can I clip both of them while retaining sync?
